Abstract
One of the challenges in maritime industry is saving the electric energy. Combustion heat engine is the only source of energy on the yachts and vessels. In case of limited capacity of electric energy source reduction of consumption of energy has crucial meaning. Air-conditioning systems usually uses mechanic compressor which are driven by electricity. Combustion heat engines generate waste heat that can be utilized in many ways, at different temperature level, e.g. for air-conditioning purposes. Operation of ejection systems at high condensation temperatures is crucial for systems used in hot climate, therefor, supercritical cycle was proposed. The paper will show the results of the first stage of the designing of the ejector series with variable cooling capacity in range of 16-24 kW. Numerical modelling procedure will be shown and discussed. Proposed geometries and performance lines of the ejector’s series operating at supercritical conditions will be shown.
